Fontanesi Flute Concerto Recording is out!

So excited to receive this great album in the mail, after recording during the summer of 2019!

After recording four albums of David Fontanesi’s chamber music over the course of the last several years, this CD really marks a milestone since it collects four solo concertos (flute, violin, cello and piano).

I was fortunate to be joined in this adventure by the wonderful ensemble I Virtuosi Italiani, and to share the album with Vincenzo Bolognese, Francesco Stefanelli, and Michelangelo Carbonara.

The flute concerto, called Academic Concerto, features the use of the flauto d’amore in the second movement, which makes it really unique.

The CD was recorded at Teatro Ristori in Verona, Italy, and was published by Da Vinci Classics.
